In 1985, Richard and Shirley Marcin bought a 1.2 acre property in Holland, MA. In a matter of a few years they built Fender Drive In Seasonal Fast Food restaurant which is located in Holland,Ma by Lake Hamilton.
There was nothing like this in Holland at the time. It attracted business and more people to the area. It is a short cut off I-84 to the Brimfield Flea market.
Replaces the Fenders Seasonal Drive-in Sign ..built in 1991 by Richard and Shirley Marcin in the Town of Holland , Ma. It was operated by them and their daughter for 13 successful summer seasons. Mr. and Mrs. Marcin are ready for retirement and have decided to put their lovely commercial property and business up for sale.
The restaurant is open from May to September and catered to car clubs, motorcycle clubs, and patrons of the Brimfield Flea Market. Fenders is located on 1.3 acres of prime commercial land and comes with beach rights as it is located directly across from Lake Hamilton. Fenders is noted for serving Fried Clams, Long dogs, Chili Dogs, homemade clam fritters, and hand cut onion rings. the menu also includes top quality soft serve ice cream and hand packed ice cream. We are most happy to announce the sale of our restaurant to Dick Hoyt as of June 10, 2009. UPDATE: TEAM HOYT FINISH LINE has been sold........the new owner is James Gagne of Maine.
